Ultra Low Power 4G Router
The Semtech AirLink RV50X is an ultra-low-power, rugged Cat-6 LTE router designed for critical remote fixed assets and industrial IoT infrastructure in harsh or off-grid environments. It delivers reliable broadband connectivity (up to 300 Mbps downlink / 50 Mbps uplink) with exceptional energy efficiency, making it ideal for battery, solar, or low-power deployments where traditional solutions like fiber or landlines are impractical or costly.
This industrial-grade gateway features a compact, IP64-rated metal enclosure for dust and water resistance, wide operating temperature (-40°C to +70°C), MIL-STD-810G compliance for shock/vibration/thermal/humidity, and superior power protection (7–36 VDC input, low voltage disconnect, ignition sense, transient tolerance up to +200 VDC/-600 VDC). It includes 1x Gigabit Ethernet port, single RS-232 serial, USB 2.0, GNSS (12-channel GPS/GLONASS with <2m accuracy), and dual Nano-SIM slots for redundancy/failover.
Advanced capabilities encompass secure VPN (IPsec/GRE/OpenVPN up to 5 tunnels), stateful firewall, remote authentication (LDAP/RADIUS/TACACS+), policy-based routing, QoS, NAT/port forwarding, IPv6 support, and edge processing via ALEOS Application Framework (AAF) for custom IoT data handling. Management is streamlined with AirLink Complete (1-year included): cloud-based AirLink Management Service (ALMS) for remote monitoring/configuration/updates, 24/7 support, hardware warranty (extendable to 5 years), and critical firmware updates through at least 2029+. Optional AirLink Premium adds advanced reporting, advance replacement, and tracker widget.
