The Digi IX40 is a 5G edge computing industrial IoT cellular router solution purpose-built for Industry 4.0, enabling rapid processing, analysis, and integration of industrial asset data on public and private 5G networks.
The Digi IX40 combines high-performance 5G (NSA/SA) or 4G LTE connectivity with integrated edge computing (containerized apps via Digi Containers), CBRS/private 5G support, and Digi SureLink® for persistent, resilient links. It features dual SIM failover, GNSS, multiple Ethernet/SFP ports, serial/I/O for industrial integration (Modbus bridging), advanced routing/security, and centralized management via Digi Remote Manager® (included in Digi 360). Rugged C1D2-rated enclosure suits harsh environments, with license-free enterprise software for VPN, firewall, and more. It optimizes OT/IT convergence for predictive maintenance, automation, and critical applications.
