The Ericsson Cradlepoint W1850 Series is a compact indoor 5G low- and mid-band adapter designed to add primary or failover Wireless WAN connectivity for branch sites, remote locations, and hybrid WAN environments. It delivers industry-leading performance with dual simultaneous 5G low/mid-band and Cat 20/Cat 19 LTE connectivity, passthrough throughput up to 2 Gbps, 2x 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports (LAN/WAN switchable), 1x USB, 1x RJ45 serial, passive GNSS, and PoE 802.3at power support.
Designed for branches that require the higher performance of 5G and the flexibility of wireless, the Cradlepoint W1850 5GB Wideband Adapter ushers in the next generation of Wireless WAN networking. The W-Series is designed to accommodate the diverse spectrums, multiple generations, and breadth of new technologies introduced in 5G while delivering enterprise-class standards of scalability, comprehensive management, and security.
High Performance Wideband
The W1850 5GB adapters are purpose-built for deployment in the new high-performance low-, mid-band 5G spectrum. To address the tradeoff of lower propagation, Cradlepoint designed the W-Series adapter to be placed separately from the router for optimal signal reception. The stylized W1850 5GB Adapter is designated for optimal indoor placement.
